Looks like 17 states have joined Texas in the last two days.

You wonder if all the other suits were a distraction/delaying action for the Texas suit. Texas kept this quiet, not even telling other states so they could join in when the suit was filed. Seems Democrats were caught off guard.

No clue what the chances are that SCOTUS will take this case and rule on it, but the odds are probably 100%+ better with Barrett seated.

Immune system 99% effective in keeping one from dying but not 99% effective in keeping you healthy!! Several of my friends and acquaintances were stricken with Covid. All but one did not die. Of the recovered, some had nothing more serious than a bad cold, some had symptoms similar to a really bad case of the flu and two were severely impacted, one in the hospital for 18 days and she will probably never fully recover. If the vaccine prevents getting Covid, it is worth it. The rest of the bullshit we have been subjected to is just bullshit.

You can bet your last dollar that WA won't be involved, at least not until the secession of the state from King county (Seattle) is completed.

Alaska is a pretty safe bet outside of Anchorage... Anchorage amazingly has a mayor that is from Northern California that brought her San Francisco values and politics with her...
