so in my humble opinion , things looking very good, stock market way up to record levels , trariff deals getting done,[EU] farmers and ranchers getting a good deal on that one. And would you look at Ukraine , minerals deal signed in ink and both countries will prosper , and 50 mill, advance to Ukraine. ,drones at 2000$ @ piece thats significant , not to mention Patriot systems being transferred over to them via Isreal. Putin being ignored and loosing out on all Ukraines minerals he obviously wanted.
9 illegals x border yesterday , not good but better than 100,000.
and Trump wants to investigate who was running the country with the auto-pen signatures under Biden,
OH DANG, I mentioned TRUMP let the screaming , crying, whining , miserable wring of hands ,and nashing of teeth begin , from those with TDS.
now Im backing out again , because you can't fix stupid, as in TDS.
Well you can, but its a very harsh fix.
I agree with everything you have said...

Except, I foresee US ground troops in Ukraine in our near future to protect "US assets in Ukraine". I hope and pray that I am wrong and that this post does not age well...We will see in the near future...

I would be surprised if that happens, Ukraine seems willing and able to do the job. we gave them 764 million back in march, quietly, without news release ,in a fund by 5 or 6 countries . since then they have developed a longer range missile and a new longer range drone which can fly 994 miles with a 264 lb. explosives load. good morning Moscow!
PUTIN may end up regretting his 3 day invasion of a neighbor
And in other news apparently a deal has been reached with China ,but no details yet.

As long as a democrat doesn't get elected in 2028, and destroys everything Trump has accomplished, we should expect a very robust economy moving forward.
And, that is the reason moving manufacturing back to the USA is not sustainable. It took 50 years for it to move away. It is not going to come back in 20 years let alone 4. Trump likes to go alone without the Congress via executive order because it is easy and quick. Unfortunately, the next President can undo it all, like Biden did the last time around.

Take ACA for example, GOP has been trying to get rid of it forever. But, because it is a law rather than an executive order they haven’t been able to.

Following.... President Trump "I will end this on day one". To cutting off all military aid to Ukraine, Too publicly making a fool a Zelenzky, while still publicly while making nice with Putin....
This war appears to be no closer to a conclusion than it was in January,...Except that we (the United States) now have a minerals deal (that Putin wants) that needs protected if we are to recoup any of the money that we have spent.....
IMO, wars are always about money... We will see, and I hope I am wrong.

Trump is guilty of ridiculous phrasing and statements. (I’ll end the war on day one)

Is important to remember the reason Russia is in Ukraine in the first place. Obama, the guy that sent Hillary to Russia with a “Reset” button. His weakness gave Putin the go ahead. Crimea and Ukraine fell under Obama and Biden. Trump was the first to give Zelenskyy weapons. Obama gave him blankets and MREs. Each time Biden gave the next level of weapons it was strategically too late.

Someone kicks in your door and is trashing your house. Your neighbor walks over and says “this shouldn’t take long” and starts cleaning it up. Do you hold it against your neighbor because it’s taking him so long? or the guy that kicked your door in.

That is a very good analogy and one we all should consider here’s another I feel is appropriate the American perspective may very..

Waitress brings you a bill before your meal comes and expects you to pay up front , fair enough you probably don’t like it but I guess that’s how they do it here. You sit around wait awhile get a few appetizers and then when you ask about your main the bill comes again.

America decided in the 90s that it was in their strategic interests to have nuclear weapons out of Ukraine along with several other countries The Ukrainians gave up their nuclear deterrent in exchange for promises . When russia invaded and broke there word Biden does the minimum necessary because he’s on the short time list and arguably not fully competent anymore, along comes trump and the fiasco of an Oval Office meeting and oh by the way here’s your bill again.

Does anyone think you can fairly negotiate while the Russians are holding a gun to one parties head?

I’m a John Wayne fan and to me the opening scene in big Jake that introduces John Wayne sums it up.

So well some of you think Zelenskyy got a fair deal I hold he’s just going with the sheep.

Good points. Obama and Biden gave financial support and paltry military support so they lived up to the vague agreement. It took years to come to the final resolution, between Russia, US and Europe. but the initial dollar amount was paid, and then the final agreement was vague stating we and Europe would protect them.

Obama and Biden can say they met their obligations after Putin attacked.

Here’s Another lame analogy.

You go into an all you can eat perch dinner for $20
You ask for a second round and the waitress says that’s all you can eat for $20. If you want more you have to pay more. Kind of what Obama, Biden all the prior European leaders and now Trump have done.

But the current European leaders and Trump have done more than all the previous combined. Biden would not even consider negotiations with Russia.

With that, I still think Trump should hand the kitchen sink over to Ukraine and go on the offense and finish Russia once and for all. Of course, then China would take over and we’d have to deal with that. It’s a good thing. I’m not in charge.

I understand your analagy

However - for me it is more like your neighbour coming over and telling you it is all your fault for living in your house

That’s the part I don’t understand why trump tried to negotiate with Russia in the first place and all the nonsense about Ukraine starting the war.
Russia invaded Ukraine we can all agree on that part except for maybe our buddy from the iron curtain that shows up from time to time can’t recall his handle right now.

What I don’t understand is why there wasn’t a curtesy phone call to Russia telling them to get the hell out in x amount of hours or days and when that passed give Ukraine the means to drive them out by whatever means necessary. Ever gun in the hand of a Ukrainian every successful drone attack every sunk ship they all add up to keeping your countryman and mines boots on our soil instead of in Europe.

Edit: the Russian member I was thinking of his user name is vashper

But at the end of the day I don’t understand a lot of things I’m just a simple fisherman. Like for instance why Canada and a lot of other countries accepted fighting age able bodied men as refugees any one who is not willing to fight for his own home is certainly not going to stand up and help defend mine or any of yours if the going gets tough. That problem isn’t solely routed in Ukraine before that it was Syria and I doubt the list stops there.

Yea.. One would think that refugees would be women, children, elderly and the infirm.. Men need to be men. These refugee “men” are undesirable in the extreme.

If you allow me to wonder into the philosophical for a moment that is a problem society as a whole is facing, rotations around the sun does not a man make. I’ve known “men” still in the throes of puberty and “adolescents” well into their forties.

Using NI language

Putin is a player

He has zero intention of a peace deal

That, in his worldview, is capitulation

He believes that the US is naive and Europe is weak

There will be no peace deal

At best…

A suspension of hostilities …

Until the next time

Most of us have burned into our memory from the Lefts Media puppets. More specifically Bidens media puppets.

That the Ukraine invasion materialized from thin air.

I AM IN NOW WAY CONDONING THE INVASION

But context and what really happened not what the leftist media has been feeding us are important.

There were in fact two main U.S. provocations. The first was the U.S. intention to expand NATO to Ukraine and Georgia in order to surround Russia in the Black Sea region by NATO countries (Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Georgia, in counterclockwise order). The second was the U.S. role in installing a Russophobic regime in Ukraine by the violent overthrow of Ukraine’s pro-Russian President, Viktor Yanukovych, in February 2014. The shooting war in Ukraine began with Yanukovych’s overthrow 11 years ago, not in February 2022 as the U.S. government, NATO, and the G7 leaders would have us believe.

The key to peace in Ukraine is through negotiations based on Ukraine’s neutrality and NATO non-enlargement.

Biden and his foreign policy team refuse to discuss these roots of the war. To recognize them would undermine the administration in three ways. First, it would expose the fact that the war could have been avoided, or stopped early, sparing Ukraine its current devastation and the U.S. more than $100 billion in outlays to date. Second, it would expose President Biden’s personal role in the war as a participant in the overthrow of Yanukovych, and before that as a staunch backer and very early advocate of NATO enlargement. Third, it would have pushed Biden to the negotiating table, undermining the administration’s continued push for NATO expansion.

The archives show irrefutably that the U.S. and German governments repeatedly promised to Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO would not move “one inch eastward” when the Soviet Union disbanded the Warsaw Pact military alliance. Nonetheless, U.S. planning for NATO expansion began early in the 1990s, well before Vladimir Putin was Russia’s president. In 1997, national security expert Zbigniew Brzezinski spelled out the NATO expansion timeline with remarkable precision.”

Again it doesn’t give Putin the right to invade. But Ukraine and its partners helped nudge Putin. And give him (in his mind) justification.

Using your analogy. I hold it against my neighbor that instead of cleaning proceeds to blame me for the guy kicking the door in and demands my TV in order to help.

Are the weapons that were authorized by Congress and shipped to Poland still there or has Trump ended the hold he put on them?
