President Donald Trump has unilaterally imposed tariffs on much of the world. Yet the authority to impose tariffs is nowhere to be found in Article II of the Constitution, which is where the limited powers of the president are enumerated. Rather, the authority "to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises," as well as the authority "to regulate Commerce with Foreign nations," is to be found exclusively in Article I, which is where the powers of Congress are spelled out.
Once again, you need to do better research before waving the Constitution in my face to support your incorrect assertions...
The part that you failed to mention is that Congress also has the authority to delegate the power of imposing foreign tariffs to the POTUS. There are several laws on the books that give the POTUS the authority to impose tariffs for a multitude of reasons including but not exclusive to national security... A precedent that has been upheld by the courts on many occasions throughout our history...

You mean King Trump wants Zelensky and the Ukraine to pay tribute, prefferably right after Zelensky kisses Trumps ring. I have the same standard for all candidates - if you say something while running for election I expect them to at least try to complete what they said they would within our countrys laws. The problem with Trump is that no one takes him at his word even his followers.
