LBJ, no way. It was Joe DiMaggio, JFK a Bostonian (Red Sox fan) vs Joltin Joe. Last game between the Yankees and Red Sox in 1963 was a win for Boston. This did not set well with Joe and what about Marilyn Monroe there’s no sweeping that one under the rug. Forensic evidence found that the wooden stock of the rifle in question was from an ash tree, same as a Louisville slugger. I could go on but the last thing I need is the FBI showing up at my door.

I simply disagree with your premise and conclusion.

The Commission's conclusions were consistent with and supported by the test firing of the weapon by both FBI and US Army personnel, all of whom could fire three accurate rounds between the 175-265 feet and 5.6 seconds of the actual engagement with Oswald's rifle. There was some slight misalignment of the scope due to "shims" used in mounting it, but all testers easily compensated. That there was another weapon is another red herring created from thin air from a misidentification by a deputy constable and deputy sheriff corrected by both men who initially reported seeing a mauser but then identified the actual Carcano.

I recommend Chapter 4, pages 191-195 in the Commission Report and the testimony of Robert A. Frazier (FBI) and Major Eugene Anderson (US Army), documented in the report’s hearings and exhibits (e.g., CE 541-546 for ballistic evidence).

Oswald was a terrible shot? He was a Marine Corps veteran who qualified as "sharpshooter" with an M1 on a target array out to 500 yards with open sights. His wife testified that he often both dry fired

No experienced rifleman in this world now, or in the century past, would eschew the steady and slow, straight on, unobstructed by foliage, slowing to approach the turn with Kennedy completely exposed for most of it and then down to less than 25 yards...

For a shot that is moving diagonally away, obstructed by foliage for the first ~30 yards, obstructed by the bulk of the limousine for the rest of it, and picking up speed as it approaches the overpass and away from the crowds.

I maintain that Oswald would have had to have one hell of a reason to shoot when he decided to. And it only makes sense if you're waiting for another rifle.

I agree with this. I pretty much think it was Oswald and there is a lot of conspiracy nonsense. However, when he took the shot and given the opportunity he had before hand gives me pause.
