We are a nation of laws and our constitution demands that the law is applied equally to ALL, the constitution demands it. Yes I am concerned about the impartial conduct of a trial. I'm all for standing up against the establishment and pushing forth Conservative values... especially less Government... Like Reagan pushed and spoke so eloquently on.....

However we first need to win elections! The Democrats have their disagreements also.... But their factions unite when it comes right down it. Republicans seem bent on staying devided with the factions discussed holding so tightly to their ideals that they accomplish nothing! And cause us to lose elections, vital seats we MUST have in order to hold the line against these Leftists, much less push a Conservative agenda.

We should have had a great Red Wave the last election. All we got bloody piss. If Republicans controlled both the House and the Senate, even without the Presidency we could at least hold the line. As it is the House with it's very narrow and non functional majority, gets nowhere.

Win the damned elections, then tow the line! Those VITAL middle of the road voters Trump was so quickly dismissing as are several on here... Are absolutely vital to Republicans winning. The swing votes decide these elections, not the drum beaters nor those falling on swords.

We need to support our Republican candidates whomever they end up being because it is the overall policy we are fighting for. As much as hate politics and political parties... we need the Republicans to win elections and vote together or we loose this Country to the Leftists.

He's a bit late, but glad he's voicing this to his audience. I imagine there's lots of people who will finally feel that it's "okay" to talk about these issues.

He has been on quite the roll as of late. The Berliner op-ed just made it topical.

Some Democratic politicians feel that they must pander to the far left so as not to lose young progressives. The problem with this strategy is that alienating young progressives means that they just will not vote (not that many vote anyway), alienating the vast majority of Democrats who are moderate sensible people means that many of us WILL vote for moderate sensible Republicans instead.

Guess he gets the pothead vote.

I wonder what the fascination with missile system defenses for the anti-establishment crowd? Preparing/hoping for a civil war?

No not at all, just stating simply because some one was in the military does not make them honorable or trustworthy,,,,,,,, if you will blindly follow someone, anyone, than it proves you can’t think for yourself. I don't disagree... but hard Right Republicans did not win the overwhelming seats that should have gone Republican. It demonstrates that the Middle American majority of voters want moderate candidates.

Semper Fi. Our family has had Marines going all the way back to the civil war. One was supposedly awarded the Medal of Honor and a ship was named in his honor. Our family also has had many peace officers that swore an oath as well. I don’t like seeing anyone abused by the judicial system no matter who they are.
