This is different to the US invasion of Iraq in what way..?
A small point of order. My unit was exposed to Sarin from the Khamisiyah demolition. That is the basis of most of my disability. Obviously, Iraq also had a considerable inventory that was used against Iran during the Iran Iraq War.Didn't you hear? Saddam Hussein...
-Had WMDs
-Helped facilitate 9/11
-Hated us for our freedoms
RJ Rummel is a highly respected researcher into the lethal history of socialism. His research has concluded that the Soviet Union was responsible for the deaths of 61,000,000 people - Russian people. 39,000,000 of those died in forced labor camps or through execution, and most of the remainder through starvation during collectivization. The Russians make the Nazis look like armatures
Sarin? Wasn't from us was it?? Perhaps you could also sue the US govt instead of just a VA claimA small point of order. My unit was exposed to Sarin from the Khamisiyah demolition. That said, I think our national interests would have been better served by keeping a light hand on Iraq so that they, regardless of leadership, could keep Iran well occupied. It was something many of us old Arab hands tried to advocate in 2002 with no success.
Wasn't our Sarin, and damned right we were supporting Hussein then. I was assigned to the US embassy in Riyadh at that time. All sorts of dialogue with my Iraqi counterparts. Allies change, abiding interests do not.Sarin? Wasn't from us was it?? Perhaps you could also sue the US govt instead of just a VA claim

I didn't say there wasn't. I think I was scrupulous is pointing out the difference in the murderous focus of the two regimes. Stalin killed everyone and Putin is a liberal humanitarian who only murders or imprisons his political foes.To say that there is no difference between the USSR of the 1920s and 1930s and the modern Russian Federation is not an honest comparison. The US was allied and supportive of the USSR during the worst period of Russian history (1918-1945). US journalists and "intellectuals" fawned over the Soviet Union and Lenin. And obviously as we all know the US was more than willing to side with them in the fight against Germany, knowing full well what Stalin had been up to.
Country is fkd.....
Was the methodical destructuction of a society by stealing their children a Stalin thing or is that a new creative innovation by Putin?I didn't say there wasn't. Maybe ask France hows that working out for them? But Hey, At least Londoners are not Islamophobic. They and other European nations are a mirror to the future of the U.S.
Let millions of non assimilating immigrants into your country to show how enlightened you are.
History is not an absolute. It has different facets, those that lived it, those who witnessed it, those who recorded it, and those who edit history to fit a narrative. We know which group Putin falls into.
For a minute I thought it referred to a post apocalyptic tax problem - that whole spelling thing
