PNW Poaching Ring - 200 charges filed against 17 people

In NZ you don't have limits on so many species. How do you get charged for poaching? :E Head Scratch:
You are correct .
We have no limits on wild animals in NZ .
You can shoot any sex any age anytime of the year , that goes for all wild animals .
Thar , red deer , chamois , elk, pigs , rusa , sambar , white tail deer , fellow , and sika deer are allowed to be hunted all year .
They all classed as pests here in NZ as they are all introduced here and not endemic to NZ>
BUT you still need a permit from the Department of conservation to hunt them AND only on DOC land .
Without a permit you are technically poaching .
There are a lot of game all over NZ on private land used for farming and hunting on these properties without permission is poaching .
It is becoming a problem here in NZ as some people have no respect or dont care whos land they are on .
Prosecutions for poaching are very common now and once caught you loose everything .
You loose your firearms your vehicle your firearms licence get a hefty fine and banned from hunting for an indefinate period .
i will try to upload a news article from last week about a pet stag getting shot next to smeones house .
Cheers Dory

Here in "Oz" the first nations people have certain rights in practicing traditional hunting; even to the extent that it WAS Ok to hunt turtles, Manitou, and whatever else from aluminium runabout with outboard motors. Kangaroo and land animals with firearms and so on. Allegedly, hunting water buff was done by shooting their knees out from under them with calibers like the 22Hornet.
Now, most of the water buff and Banteng are hunted on "traditional lands" with most of the eat goes to the traditional owners. Seems to be working OK.
Deer are being poached in southern states with illegal spotlighting methods at night within sight of homes ...
The Assholes are everywhere.

Disgusting sons of bitches everyone of them. Give me 3 minutes with everyone of them in a small room...
