Picking your trophies up at the airport?

My tact is different this year. I'm not having taxidermy done in Africa. I'm going to dip/pack everything but the kitchen sink and bring it home. I can then haggle with taxidermists in the USA and if I don't want something, I can let the taxidermist keep the extra capes in barter to offset a speck of the costs.

I'm not convinced that the discount for Africa taxidermy is sufficient enough to offset the increased shipping and handling for delivery of the finished work.

Tbd but that is where my mind is at presently.

The real problem in the US is government employee unions. You can't get fired from the Federal Bureaucracy. You are not allowed to work over time. So you get people who are secure that nothing will happen to them and they can become arrogant. There is no real oversight on these employees.

We need to bring the same level of accountability that is in private enterprise. Review every process, position and person every year. Do we need this process? Do we need this position? Is this person the right person for this role? AND GET RID OF EVERYTHING WE DO NOT ABSOLUTELY NEED TO SUPPORT THE GOAL OF THE COMPANY.

Prime example is Veterans Administration. Be incompetent, commit fraud, lie to cover your negligence get a bonus.

Sounds like a good import agent such as SSI or Coppersmith might have saved you some money and aggravation .....Sometimes its worth the few dollars.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
