My wife and I went up to pick my kudu and impala up as well as my skins and horns.
It has been a very frustrating time with covid making it near impossible to get anything out of Namibia as well as the covid restrictions within Australia. Even tho I have it all now the budget blew out on transport supposedly because of covid,up over 500% but that's life.
It was well worth the wait. These animals to me mean a lot as it was a dream come true to hunt Africa. These are my mounts and a good representation of the game we hunted. Are they record breaking, NO WAY but the broke the record of memorable hunts I have had in my life. When I picked them up all the memories of Namibia come flooding back.
My impala that is now mounted on our bedroom wall.
My wife and I wish my Kudu yet to go on the wall.
My taxidermist Markus from Down Under Taxidermy.
My wife now thinks when we are laying in be instead of looking into her eyes I will lie and say yes but reckons I will be looking into the eyes of the Kudu dreaming of Africa. Ha ha ha ha. I told her I wouldn't do that.
