The hypocrisy of the greenies….

No words…

I’m infuriated after watching this video. Tanzanian Parks should be revoking all these operators permits. How the hell the parks department wasn’t there is beyond me…

Bastards…

Unbelievable! My wife and I had a fantastic trip to Kenya 25 years ago. Many non tourist things, darting a family unit of elephants for relocation, walking all day with a troop of baboons etc. The trip ended at the Maasai Mara. On our last day we had a choice of finding Cheetahs or possibly seeing a crossing. Not even a choice, the crossing was high on my list. The amount of Wildebeest was unbelievable, as far as the eye could see. Our guide pulled up to the bank of the Mara and we waited. The only other vehicle was a professional film crew. A large string of wildebeest approached the edge of the riverbank and the ones in front chickened out and turned away which then dragged the string of a few thousand with them. Our guide said sit tight. A couple of hours later they turned and this time the ones in the front were pushed from their comrades behind them. Once the first guys took the plunge they all followed. It is a memory to last forever. The sounds, sights and dust with pure controlled chaos was unbelievable! As I tell my children, enjoy every moment in the field because in your lifetime it will change dramatically as it has in my lifetime. This is a prime example.

After the last negative public and social media outcry that went viral on multiple social media platforms and the multiple foreign msm media news broadcast one would have expected the parks services to have set restrictions and guidelines to prevent this from happening again. This is 100 times worse than before. Operators licenses and permits need to be immediately revoked indefinitely.

It's a shame, but this is Africa, and as long as the politicians keep getting their kickbacks, bribes, etc. it's ok with them.

Damn assinine tourists and the operators and guides that allow this.

Need to get the names of outfitters and guides involved and set up a campaign to set them down permanently.

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
