Hi guys and gals,
I saw this on another forum and really liked the idea.
In a nutshell here is how this works:
Members put up an item that they may no longer need, want or have upgraded and it is just sitting around taking up space. The rules are that the item must be given away at no charge to the first person that names the item and says they will take it. In turn, the person taking the item MUST put something up in its place. For example, I will start this thread off with a box of Woodleigh Weldcore bullets. A member will reply i’ll Take them and will post up what they are throwing in the game.
It is discretionary if you have an item that is bulky or heavy to ask for or offer to help on shipping, but please make it known in your post if you require shipping fee. Of course we must stay legal on all transactions including shipping of components and parts internationally and to certain states.

I will start this by offering up a box of Woodleigh .510 weldcore bullets. I pay shipping to address in the US only.

So I get the bullets free! Then I have to buy a rifle. Yeah great idea!!
Exactly, don’t say you haven’t done it before!
I have ran out of other ways to enable people to buy new guns, thought I’d give this a try!lol

Just let me know what you need Spike and I will gladly forget to pack it when I leave Takeri when I get a chance to come hunt brother!

Wait....are you saying @tarbe has been an influence on you? :E Head Scratch:
Yes, he made me realize that I was way to conservative when it came to reloading components. I always thought that 20k magnum rifle primers were plenty to have on hand. Obviously I was wrong and I have started down the path of righteousness.

This is a great idea! Thank you Cody for getting the ball rolling (y) I will support the cause with another item that would go nicely with those boolits... Tim @tarbe , you seein’ this? I know you been mulling over a big magazine rifle to keep that new .470 double humble :sneaky: And I know you always buy bullets and dies before the rifle, so...
(Just kidding, Kathy would skin both Tim and I alive, so anyone have at it!)

Free to a good home shipped anywhere in the U.S. Outside the U.S. we would have to work something out and subject to all applicable laws. Although there is a nasty rumor going around that I will be in Zimbabwe next month ;)

Of course, if someone wants both @Bullthrower338 ’s bullets and these dies, they will have to pony up TWO items :)(y)

Brand new in box RCBS .500 Jeffery reloading dies - 3 die set

Just trying to uphold my “enabler” status brother :D Maybe we can get Jerome to add that to the list of titles... elite, legend, enthusiast, ENABLER!

So if I understand this correctly.... someone could get a set of 500 Jeff dies and a box of woodleigh bullets shipped FOR FREE and all someone has to do is post something resonable that they probebly don’t need anyway, in its place?? Damn.... I have a bunch of stuff I don’t need but really no use for anything 500 Jeff related!

YUP!
Anybody got some .500 Jeff brass lying around? Seems like that might really push somebody over the edge

Hope my wife doesn’t see this. She would put my entire garage and reloading room on here!

Hell Ridgewalker tell her she doesn’t have to just stick with reloading, she can pony up some “old” stuff from your other gear! Lol. Like when my ex gave away the “old” fishing poles in the game room( that belonged to my great grandpa). That went over like the proverbial turd in the punch bowl!

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
