Passport renewal

That is great news!!

When I renewed mine last year, the lady at the post office said 9 to 12 weeks. I got it back in three!

This should have come as no surprise.

I wish global entry was that good. I am over a year now and still nothing
I applied sometime in the spring and got approved 2 weeks ago while I was in Spain, did my interview at Philadelphia airport, card came yesterday. Leave the country that's the key to approval.

Great news! All reports are that it is getting much faster. Government employees milked Covid for all it was worth with reports some still work from home!

Just had my interview on Thursday. Made appt. 7 months ago. Spent 5 minutes there and should have my card in a few weeks, it is however approved, just not traveling until next year. Hooray!

looks like the Govt is making good time on Passport renewals, I just did my paperwork and pictures 3 weeks ago thru the local Post Office and was surprised it came back in exactly 3 weeks
Mine did as well. New passport cam on like a Thursday and the old passport arrived the following Tuesday. Three weeks and a couple of days.

As far as passport renewal look into the completely online option. I did it last November. Took pictures with my phone in the dining room and uploaded them. Had the passport in about a month.
