FOR SALE Pachmayr Gun Works Upgraded Browning Safari Bolt Action Rifle 30-06 AI $4,500.00 shipped

Manufactured in 1968, and subsequently upgraded to the current configuration by Pachmayr Gun Works for a Maj. Mark F. DeHayes. No additional information has been found about DeHayes other than him mentioning in his correspondence that he was stationed in the Middle East when the rifle was being built. The rifle features hooded beaded blade front and single leaf flip up rear sights on the barrel which has been magna ported and rechambered to 30-06 Ackley Improved. All metal surfaces on the rifle display a satin rust blued finish with the standard Safari Grade engraving on the trigger guard and floorplate hand cut and an engine turned bolt and follower. Mounted in a beautifully contrasted fleur-de-lis checkered Bastogne walnut pistol grip stock with ebony nose cap, skeleton grip cap, flush fit sling eyes, and Pachmayr Old English recoil pad. Includes a binder documenting the build and several documents of correspondence between DeHayes and Pachmayr and Pachmayr brochure.

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
