Oops! There go my Swaros!

I can’t keep a $20 pair of sunglasses for more than 2 months. That is why I never spent $2,000 for Bino’s. Sorry for your loss hopefully they will come through.

This is 100% me. I’ve got a pair of Calcutta shades I’ve kept about five years now and I’m astounded. I’d cry if this happened to my Bushnell binos, much less a pair of Swaro’s!

But what are you going to do? You could be miserable for the rest of the trip or just enjoy yourself and worry about replacing them when you get home.

I had a similar experience with a truck and a tree I cut down uphill. To make a long story short I took a couple of steps and then just sat down and watched what was going to happen, it was now out of my control.

If it was me, I would forever be remembered as that goofy basturd that drowned trying to get his Geovids!
Swarovski has always taken care of everyone I personally know including myself. They are an awesome company and they have my loyalty because of it. Good luck

I ran over something with the lawn mower one day, shut the engine down immediately. I started it, and got a horrible sound. Raise up the discharge flap to find 4 bolts on one of the spindles snapped!
All I could do was laugh at it.

+1 on the bino harness they are the best thing going I never hunt without my Swaro's and they are always on harness. So sad for you about your loss BUT if there is ever a company that you have a chance at replacement it is Swarovski for certain they have awesome customer service.
please let us know how it turns out with the repair service.

This mishap was my fault. I have sat them on this same rail for countless hours over the years and simply got careless with their position. I will portray nothing different with Swarovski.

I use a strap when I am mobile. As for a harness I prefer that my binoculars have no chance of impeding the shouldering of my rifle. This eliminates a harness as an option.

I had a Nikon bino go awry in Namibia once, they fell off the top seat in the back and landed on the bed of the Toyo. Picked them up and instant crosseyes! Could not bring them back to focus. I was just po'd enough to see how far I could throw them. Pretty far I found out. Cooled off a bit, retrieved them, sent them to Nikon at home. For a $25 service fee and shipping they fixed them. Still use them today. Hopefully Swaro will take care of you.

I called Swarovski first thing this morning and told them what had happened. His simple and very succinct reply was “well let me help you get those sent back to us so we can get ‘em taken care of for you”. After giving me all the instructions he asked if needed a pair of loners to use while they get mine taken care of. Mine are on their way to them and the loners are headed my way.

Just like I’ve always heard their customer service is truly first class.

Good on Swarovski! One side of my Leica's didn't focus anymore, I sent them in and they said it wasn't under warranty as it must have been caused by a fall, fixing it would cost me over $800. I didn't fix them and my next pair will be a pair of Swarovskis!

Good deal. I sent some Bushnell's in for repair and was actually disappointed when they sent me a new pair. I had quite a few scars on that pair that reminded me of past hunts.

Well I would but I did have to leave them a credit card number as a security deposit. I’m kinda hoping they send me a pair with the ranging option in them. What better excuse for an upgrade!!

GA Hunter, I almost want to laugh.
I've done the same thing to my Swarovski 10x42 EL, but in Pennsylvania.
As you can expect, Swarvoski will make it all better. They're fantastic.
