So a few years ago I befriended a well known photographer out of Nashville. Michael Gomez at West Light Studios, where Mike is the owner. Mike specializes in country music celebrity photography.
I talked him into going to SA with me in ‘23. We were hunting an area now renamed Winnie Mandela. I think the old name was Brandfort or something.
We are out looking for Mountain Zebra when Mike says “stop and get out!” I’m like WTF but ok.
In the middle of the bush here sits an old bathtub. Mike says “hop in and sit like I tell you.” Again I’m thinking WTF but do it. Mike snaps a few photos not knowing what was going on. A few days after we get back I get a text from Mike. Pretty cool huh?
