on a lighter note...

From Father:

My Dear Son,
Today is a day you will treasure for all the days of your life.
My best love and good wishes.
Your Father.

From Son:

Thanks Dad. But the wedding isn’t actually until tomorrow

From Father:

I know....

Letter to God
There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job was to process
all the mail that had illegible addresses.
One day, a letter came addressed in a shaky handwriting to God with no
actual address.

He thought he should open it to see what it was about.
The letter read:

Dear God,
I am an 83 year old widow, living on a very small pension.

Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had $100 in it, which was all the
money I had until my next pension payment.

Next Sunday is Christmas, and I had invited two of my friends over for
dinner.

Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with, have no family to
turn to, and you are my only hope...

Can you please help me?

Sincerely, Edna
The postal worker was touched.
He showed the letter to all the other workers. Each one dug into his or
her wallet and came up with a few dollars.
By the time he made the rounds, he had collected $96, which they put into
an envelope and sent to the woman.
The rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of Edna and
the dinner she would be able to share with her friends.
Christmas came and went.
A few days later, another letter came from the same old lady to God
All the workers gathered around while the letter was opened.
It read:
Dear God,
How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me?

Because of your gift of love, I was able to fix a glorious dinner for my
friends.

We had a very nice day and I told my friends of your wonderful gift.

By the way, there was $4 missing.

I think it might have been those
bastards at the post office.

Sincerely, Edna

Besides.....the USA is a target rich environment for a guy with $5 in his pocket.[emoji7] Just go down to the local Walmart.
5 bucks won’t even cover baiting if you are looking for a trophy at Walmart!

You ought to see the "trophies" driving Benzs & Beemers in the parking lot in one of the Wally Worlds I shop at. You'd be VERY surprised. Ain't no culling operation for sure.

So they'd make a great mount then? ;)

I saw a new mom breastfeeding on a bench by the registers in Walmart not long ago. She was on the phone and the baby had long since gotten it's fill so she was basically sitting there with one hanging out for no reason. She was about a 6, but that's an 8 in Walmart. Also saw the Girls Gone Wild bus in the parking lot if the same Walmart. Those guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel these days.

I would have told the register lady to wait, I just realized I forgot to get milk!

Definitely not the case in my part of Houston! The Benz and Beemers are 80’s models with huge spinning wheels on them.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
