on a lighter note...

Not sure if this would go here or in the politics post. :unsure:

Really?? fellows are we going to have to ask Brickburn to make it a rule that after posting photos like {this} they must be immediately followed by photos like this one:
No rule required. Members seem to police this one themselves.

My next door neighbor shot a pronghorn last fall and put the "pieces" in a cooler in his garage. His 8 yoa son told his teacher that his dad had a "body" in the garage. Needless to say, he got a phone call from the teacher. LOL

My, at the time, 12 year old god son went deer hunting with us for the first time. He was rather ecstatic to be along for the trip. Little did we know that he decided to share the entire tale of his weekend in a report with colour pictures depicting the entire cull hunt. Blood, bodies and junk food....
My buddy and his wife got called into the school for a meeting due to "concerns" over his disturbing report.
Dad had to work incredibly hard to keep from laughing. The kids story and pictures were perfectly accurate (from a 12 year olds point of view). Apparently, not everyone hunts.

A Pair of Pumps

Thought I'd post a pic of a couple of my favorite hunting rifles. Both Remington takedown pump-actions, one is a Model 12 in .22S/L/LR from 1913; the other is a Model 14 in .35 Rem from 1928. I was fortunate to stumble upon the .22 recently, as ammunition for the .35 is getting hard to find! Anyone else here use these underrated classics?

(Sarcasm, :Jimlad::LOL:) Thanks 1911Fan.

Me: if you let me buy this rifle, I'll get you those new pumps.

Her: (reluctantly) okay deal. (joyously thinking) she was going to get those new expensive shoes.

Me: here are your new pumps.

Her: :E Red Hot: :E Red Hot::V Bangin:

Me: Short visit to ER, Dr said I will be fine after the swelling goes down

Well could have got this pair.... :E Rofl:

@BRICKBURN
I know the feeling well. My son aged 6 wanted to do a talk on show and tell about a hunt we did and was published in a hunting mag. His teacher said know so we went and saw the principal who said no it's fine it's part of him.
He gave the talk complete with pictures and was surprised at the number of questions his classmates asked and he fielded them well. It turned out there were a few hunting families in the class.
His teacher wasn't happy but the class sure was.

Firstly, you should not have introduced him to junk food.
Secondly you should have known that would get out.
Apart from that I can't see any reason for concern.

We ruined him with the junk food for sure.

His “art” was the real kicker. No photos. Just his imagination and artistry. I think that is what really set the teacher on edge. LOL

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
