OKC gun shops

H&H would've been my first thought. Gene Sears in El reno might be worth a look more fine shotguns then anything but they have quite a collection of everything.

The very best is Champlain in Enid OK. JJ Perodeau

Champlin. JJ has moved to the Tulsa area. Call or email George ahead of time to visit the shop in Enid. It’s located at the airport.

Champlin’s is about the only place (unless you want to drive to Sand Springs). I’ve been to H&H twice and was not impressed

I was also going to suggest Champlin in Enid. If you go there, plan on at least 4 hours and do NOT hesitate to dig through the piles of guns, cases and accessories that are everywhere. There are many guns not listed and unfortunately, many guns listed that are long sold.

I am currently building a new firearm facility and will open soon in Luther, OK.

I can personally vouch for Jerry of (JD Outfitters). Very professional, responsive, and a fantastic person. I have purchased several rifles from him, including some new Rigbys. Give him a call, you won’t regret it.

I used to work around Enid a bunch a few years ago and never knew he was there

What is his new shop in Tulsa called? Champlin as well?

It's a little confusing until you understand that JJ and Champlins used to be together for many years in the same building. While they still do some work together, they have separated and Champlins is still in Enid selling guns whereas JJ has moved to Sand Springs and is also selling guns under his license. JJ was always the gunsmith for Champlins and still does a lot of work for George at Champlins and many other places. JJ is one of THE foremost double gunsmiths in the country if not the world. This is JJ's place https://jjperodeau.com/

Excellent, thank you! I think he’s just down the road and a great gunsmith is always a huge asset.

In all my visits to Champlins I never once saw JJ. Unfortunate. Always lots of double cartridgr cases sitting on the benches as you walked in to Champlins.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!
