Hunted
United States lower 48 and AK, and Canada
Greetings from Cincinnati, OH. Have hunted all over lower 48 and AK, BC/SASK/Manitoba Canada, recently invited on a hunt in Mozambique November 2025. I have that little boy feeling like I did on my first squirrel hunt. Hope to read around AH and learn from all of the experience within! Loving what I see so far:)

Welcome to AH, I think you'll love Mozambique. Be prepared however, it'll be quite hot in November.

I have been looking at weather trends for November yip hot. Can't pass up the trip invited by my best friend and his retired NFL son. They are on trip #2 and so their experience will be a huge help. Twins graduating from college this May and I'll be retiring thereafter. Figure I'll get through this trip and plan the next 3-4. Thanks for the tip on temp!!

Welcome! Just joined recently, and sounds like just a bit North of you.

Welcome fellow Buckeye. The Cinci area is where I’m originally from.
Mozambique should be a great hunt.

:S Welcome:

Meigsbucks, are you in Meigs County? If so you have some bruiser whitetail running around out there. Plenty of areas to grow old with big horns. My nephew took this one on my KY farm 6" bases.

No, but I hunted there for about thirty years. I’m originally from Dayton, KY and now live in central OH.
That’s a heck of a buck.

Greetings Rattler1,

Khomas Highland Hunting and Fishing Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

Two of my Alaska friends just returned from hunting antelopes and piggy wiggy on Coutada 9.
They said the wide open, not-game-fenced hunting was so remarkable that they did not notice the hot weather most of the time.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
