manufacturers still produce big bore ammo today? I’m aware of Norma and they’ve been a godsend for affordable dangerous game rounds.

Suddenly we are scrambling for other sources of ammo after President Cheeto Man initiated the stupid North American Tarriff War of 2025. In retaliation Canada is slapping a 25% tariff on US sporting goods. Too bad that idiot didn't mix himself a Lysol cocktail at his Inauguration Ball.

Sad for our neighbors, but it should make for some bargains on largebores in Canada if they can’t get ammo for them. The only euro ammo I see in Canada with any frequency is Kynoch which is good stuff, but pricey. Vintage Sako ammo too, back when they made largebore stuff.

Regardless of tariffs or embargoes, I recommend everyone get sufficient brass, bullets, and powders so they are not dependent on fragile supply chains. During covid those that didn’t have a cache of components were up a creek without a paddle.
