Nikon pressured to get out of hunting scope business

I’ve never had Nikon except a cheap one on a .22. I like quality and they don’t make quality, scopes anyway.

Everybody is condemning them because of an assumption. ' It sounds like....' ?

I try to be a bit more of a logical person than that.

I have to agree with @BRICKBURN. It was a business decision, nothing more. If you want proof, do a search for them on AH. Of all the hunting optics we talk about on this forum Nikon is a minor player compared to many others manufacturers. In broader business terms that adds up to a poor bottom line for that part of their business. So they end that and focus on what works for them.
