New Woodleigh Bullets (and manuals) have landed in the US. We'll start shipping it out the first week of September, but due to popular demand, we're making it available now. As of the time I sent the marketing email out, this is what is available (working hard to get some of the bigger bore stuff for the 3rd order). Thanks for your support and we'll keep trying to bring more to market.

Manuals are still available. Most orders shipped out today.

To Clarify the month should have said November, but we already inventoried the crate and orders are shipping out as of earlier this afternoon.

Do you order standard quantities of projectiles, or is it based on projected demand (or manufacturing capacity) per caliber? If it’s an option, I would be interested in pre-ordering specific gr weights for different calibers, even if it meant waiting several months or more.

Fair question. We ordered what we could at the time (roughly 50% of all available inventory), but for the next order we're looking to have Geoff and Shirley set inventory off to the side so we can build up a more substantial order. We'd absolutely like to bring in larger quantities of some of the calibers, but in some cases only 2-3 boxes were available. We're also getting a better feel for where demand is. Even though we tend to sell out a large chunk of the bullets within the first 24 hours, our goal is to have a more consistent supply-- we're looking to do this with brass too. We have some special stuff in the works, but it's admittedly taken a lot more time to build momentum than initially planned. To get back to your question regarding pre-orders, it's not something I want to entertain just yet because I don't like taking money for something that isn't even made yet, but we are going to continue to use the "notify me back in stock" feature of the website that gives us an idea of what folks are waiting for the most. We appreciate your patience, support, and continued business.

One last point for clarification: Geoff was working big to small over the past year. At the time of last import he was on 30 Cal. We know that we need bigger stuff again soon.

That’s all good info, thank you. I know these things are not as easy on your end as simply putting in a wish list and watching it arrive when you want. Regular supply would be a fantastic state/win, from manufacturer through to consumers, but doesn’t happen overnight. Happy to hear the effort you guys are working.

I’m not as concerned about getting a pre order in as I am letting the business know what I’m interested in purchasing. Not like, “this would be cool to see in stock”, but what I intend to actually purchase, which includes more of the moderate calibers. It’s good to see they’re actually making 215gr 303 pills at all, to be honest.

To be charitable Woodleigh's website is lacking in meaningful information. What is the recommended impact velocity, what is the G1 BC? What is the recommended MV? Etc. Perhaps you could add this to your website?

BC and MV can be found in the Woodleigh Bullets Loading Manual.

It would be nice to be able to see that data before dropping $42.50 on their reloading manual. Principle of the thing.
Well, there’s the principle of exchanging value for a service, which is compounded by providing a niche service in an arguably already niche industry.

Also, there’s more than just BC and MV listings in the manual. There’s multiple chapters and pictures discussing the people and principles behind the scenes at Woodleigh. I had a copy of the manual long before even a single bullet they make, and enjoyed the entire product.

Also also, they’re pretty good folks there and would probably give you the data you need via email.

But, hey, if the principle of the thing is to gripe online about having to actually pay for a valuable service, carry on.

Where oh where do I start. First, I did not complain I asked if data was available that is commonly provided by other bullet manufacturers on their website. Second, I was directed to a load manual which has to be purchased in order to receive basic simple data points. Third, perhaps you are unaware of this, many, many bullet makers provide full load data Nosler, Sierra, Hammer, Barnes to name a few. Berger provides great information on all their products. Finally, perhaps you should take a moment to reflect on the tenor and tone of your responses.

Everyone on this forum should own the Woodleigh reloading manual. It contains lots of valuable data on vintage imperial and metric calibers. I've seen them go from $35-$45 up to $150 when they are scarce. I'm unsure they'll be printed again. Support our AH advertisers and build your essential Africa library in the process.

Bummer the 9.3 in 320 grain not in stock

@RAVEN ROCKS PRECISION thank you for the service you're providing to the AH community. On behalf of the vintage/english shooters on this forum, please use your leverage and influence with Woodleigh to plan what they manufacture next. With no disrespect intended, for pedestrian calibers we have many alternatives to Woodleigh, so they are making something that isn't essential to the marketplace. But there are some calibers that are unobtainable virtually anyplace else. I would hope that Woodleigh spent less time making stuff for 375HH and 458WM and more time producing the unicorns: 240 Apex, 280 Ross, 318WR, 333J, 450NE, 465, 475, 425WR, etc, etc. The world has us by the balls and woodleigh is the last, best hope to keep these fine vintage rifles operational.

A personal bias too: Enough with the woodleigh hydros. Monometal solids are everywhere. We can debate how great or lousy they are in other threads. But for vintage rifles, traditional soft points and cup-and-core leadcore solids are what regulates and works very well. The weldcores and PPs are their best, unique product offering.

@quandary
Check out their web site. I know their catalogue lists BC, recommend impact velocity and parameters.

What’s up with new members joining just to troll?
How about new members that are dedicated hunters and shooters who put their own rifles together, load their own ammunition and ask simple questions in order to gain knowledge being greeted with snide comments? Or is there a hazing process I am not aware of?
