HI I'm Rebecca from Flagstaff AZ. I was searching for ways to sell my Husband's hunting gear; I ended up here. He passed away a few years ago and he loved to hunt Elk in our area. I was the bird watcher in the family.
I struggle with using the internet and navigating web sites. we didn't have kids, therefore I had no one to teach me about computers. Anyway, here I am, and I'll learn about this website slowly but surely.

As for selling equipment there are quite a few avenues out there to do so. The classifieds on the forum here is a good way for other hunters to see if what you have interest them.

Another way is a Craigslist. It is a internet platform where you list your item with a picture if possible. All you need is a email address where prospective buyers can contact you at. I'm unfamiliar with the Flagstaff area but there may be other internet options for local buyers that you might want to peruse.

One thing with selling on the internet is to be aware of scams where they offer you more money than you are asking or where they say that they will pay you with some kind of internet transfer and have someone else pick it up. If it is someone that you don't know I would suggest that they meet you with cash. USPS money orders are another way that they will try to get your merchandise without paying for it by using a counterfeit money order. Also if you feel uncomfortable in meeting someone at your home you can set us a area that is common to the public. I have done a few transactions at the County Sheriffs parking lot. Also where money is concerned do not ship a item to someone without having the money in your hands. There are just too many scam artist out there trying to get something for nothing.
