If you are going that far you might as well throw in a few more while you are there. It will not cost that much more in the grand scheme of things!!
Well, I get that but by the time you pay a trophy fee, dip/ship, taxidermy, etc it’s a minimum $1k per animal added.
We just want the experience of hunting Africa and my trophy room in our small house really doesn’t have much more room.

Well, you don't have to bring them all home and you could ask about cull animals too. You still get the hunt with much less expense and no trophy fees. A good camera is must!

Welcome to AH, you picked a great place to begin your journey to Africa. Don't give up on that dream, it is probably more affordable than you think. Good luck

Welcome to AH. Enjoy the forum, it's very addicting. If we can be of any assistance with US Customs or shipping, please call, email, or send me a message!

Welcome to AH and we look forward to your participation!

Buckshot85, welcome to AH! I know what you mean about a small trophy room. Personally I recommend only pictures from your first Africa adventure. It will really reduce the costs. You can discuss cull animals with potential PHes. That too will help. Your main goal on your first safari should be getting the experience. Photos, albums, etc. can really add to the memory more than dead heads hanging on the wall.
Put yourself a spreadsheet together and a time line. Save, plan and have yourself a grand Africa adventure!

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
