Based on my experience, the 293Gr Brenneke TUG (fired from a 9.3x74mm R) is absolutely fantastic for African forest buffalo, eland & kudu.

Thank you HH, that is a unique bullet design. I’ll keep my eye out for some loaded ammo and give it a try. I’ve shot Hornady and A frames and both produce good composite groups.

I love my 9.3x74R double. I think it is a very practical cartridge for an all-around double rifle. Mine shoots all factory 285 ammo very good, with Hornady being the exception. It does not like Hornady ammo at all.

You have a beauty there and it appears to be a shooter.
