I do plan on trying that factory load. How did it shoot?First time out I just shot the 156gr factory oryx loaf
Did you have any high pressure signs with that 48gr load? Did your group tighten up any more?I went to 48 gr of RL 22 with the 140 gr partition. Still working on the 156 gr Oryx load, going to try some RL 26 next. The 156 gr Oryx hits like a sledgehammer in my 7X57. The 140 partitions in the Swede have scored three one shot kills on two big Axis and a 250 lb boar. Pretty rifle @VonJager , looks quite familiar.
I think the same as you.One person's misfortune is another's gold mine. Wonder why the other individual gave up on his/her Swede? Not fast enough? Too young? I do think that you have to achieved a certain maturity in order to see the beauty of calibers such as the 6.5X55 Swede and .275 Rigby (7mm Mauser). Particularly the Swede.
@Sand Rat: You are a killin machine my friend. My health has been quite an issue for me and I haven't even shot mine yet. I am so glad that you have been puttin yours to good use. Safe travel.jsHow Swede it is, the more I use this rifle the more I like it! The 140 partitions are'nt fur friendly on the offside.
