Few outfitters offer a choice of rough or deluxe, I know KMG does on here. For me one of the things many Africa goers will miss out on is a tent safari for which there is really no equal for truly getting the whole Africa experience. It is better for warmer weather of course but there is something special about being woke up in a classic tent and having someone drop off a big basin of hot, smoky water, heated over open fire to wash the night off ones face. Magic!
