New member looking for a contact

Thanks, I'm getting old enough, 76yrs, and think my hunting days are slipping by. I have a few nice big rifle caliber rifles, but don't know if I'll be able to use them.

I have some pretty rifles, but they shoot well and need to be used.
Thanks for all the welcomes.

Butch, for a "used" gun, that sure is pretty. Looks like it just came out of the box.

Yes sir, all of mine are built to use. As I stated above, age "76" and after 5 neck and spine surgeries, I'm not as steady and able to walk well on rough and grown up land as when I was younger.

Welcome! Beautiful rifles for sure

Morning Butch, you've got me shaded by a year. I don't get around very well either. My neck and spine are fine but my knees and ankles have seen better days. What make is your 416 Rigby? I too like that stock.

Hi Butch! Welcome to our forum. Glad you found your contact. I am pretty sure you will have no problem selling those gorgeous rifles to a new home when you decide it is time to so. We have more than a few members that are likely already thinking of becoming that new home someday!

It is a 1917 Enfield with work done by Nick Hughes and James Anderson. I was fortunate to be able to find a high serial number, unused, receiver to start.

Sure not looking to sell anytime soon. Still have 2 in the mill right now. I love beautiful rifles.

Butch

It is great to have you over here.

I hope you decide to set a spell. We can always use some wisdom from a guy who's been around the block a few times!

And we love rifle porn, so keep it coming! :)

Nice rifles. Any trophy pics form hunts? With pretty rifles in them of course.

Well, I'm not much on photos. Here is a Axis deer with my little Mauser in 250-3000. I do have memory scars on the stock from kicking it accidentally when it was resting against a tree.

It is a Peruvian turned down to small ring.

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
