New Member in SC

Welcome to AH!

I appreciate the warm welcome from each of you. I have not yet had the opportunity to hunt in Africa. I am in the early stages of planning for a hunt. I hope to get there either in 2022 or 2023. Someone asked about where in SC I am located. We are in the Upstate. The 375 I purchased is a very lightly used Model 70 Safari Express. It is one of the last ones out of the New Haven, CT plant. I have only had it to the range once, but I like it alot.

Planning and preparation over the next couple of years will be exciting.

Sorry I missed your introductory post, but please add my name to the list of welcomers. Have you had an opportunity to take your "new" Winchester mod 70 in 375 H&H to the range yet? Normally they are very accurate rifles. Is the rifle scoped or still wearing Irons? What kind of group did you get? Were you using factory of reloaded ammo?

+1 Great to deal with. I purchased custom rifle. No issues.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary

Booked with Harold Grinde - Gana River - they sure kill some good ones - who'd you get set up with?
