New member from western Cape

Interesting to see the beginners package containing Bontebok, not a usual first time hunt for most people. The diversity in South Africa is wonderful and with areas in the Western Cape that’s what it is.

Welcome to AH Rikus.

Thank you can you maybe tell me what is not clear for you on the website. And what do you think I must change.

Before I answer your question;
It is important to read the posts in threads you start and try and respond to all the questions presented to you.
For instance I asked about your Outfitter number in the same post you have replied to here. Pretty important question to answer.
It leaves a question in my mind; Was it an oversight or avoidance? You do not want to instill doubt.

Suggestions:

1. Pick one font and stick with it. There are eight colors on one page.
2. less busy - the background is like camouflage.
3. Not sure what the animation on top is for. It's distracting.
4. Packages that don't include the typical costs. That's confusing. Day fees are not included??!?!?

5. Be consistent with your language - Daily Fees - Daily Rates
6. Putting exclusions at the top of the page vs small print is distracting. Important Notice is the first thing I see in your package.

7. Look at the language used in the other websites. Make it clear for the potential client.

I'll stop there.

Have a look at the websites of AH Sponsors. There are some excellent websites.

Hi thank you for the reply .I apologize was busy when I replied to your response. Yes I do have a outfitter number is it the registration number I got when I registered? I will have a look at the website to improve it thank you for this I really appreciate it please let me know if you see something that does not work so I can improve.

It will be your license number from the province Rikus.
Unfortunately, we have had some issues in the past with people illegally promoting hunts without their Outfitters License.

Rikus I sent you a PM or "Conversation". Click on the "inbox" in the top corner of your screen and you can view and reply.

If you have any questions please ask.

Rikus I just looked at your web site it says if canceled between 7-10 days 75% is retained, 4-7 days 50% is retained and 0-4 days 25% is retained. So as I read it if I cancel between 0-4 days I get 75% of my deposit back, 4-7 days I get 50% of my deposit back, 7-10 days I get 25% of my deposit back, this makes no sense. Also you do not have prices, from a personal opinion no quoted prices means no business for you. When looking at hunts I want to know the bottom line cost. Why would I go through extra work for me to book with you when there are thousands of African outfitters that have the bottom line price on their website. I’m a fairly busy person so anything that cuts down research time for me is a plus.

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
