Welcome! You'll have a great time taking your daughter to hunt in Africa. I took my youngest daughter hunting in Namibia for her 21st birthday and we had a great time. One thing I'd suggest is between now and 2019, practice shooting off of sticks. I bought a bolt action in 223 and used that and a Bog Pod tripod for lots of practice sessions at the range. One of the PHs we hunted with had a 7mm mag with a suppressor and that reduced the recoil and report by about 50%, so that made it nicer to shoot.
Yea we do a lot of shooting from sticks with 22s and 6.5 creedmoor. She is good at shooting from them so far. Need to get her more used to it and get her shooting faster from them. We can't wait.

Welcome aboard. Being able to hunt with your kids is one of life's greatest pleasures. My boys and I have been hunting together for 39 years, now my two oldest grandsons hunt with us. The 6.5 Creedmoor is all the gun your daughter will need. I used my 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser and hand loaded ammo on planes game last August. Does the 6.5 Creedmoor fit her? The only reason I'm asking is that several years ago I noticed that my then 14 year old grandsons had difficulty shouldering rifles with a standard LOP i.e. 14/14&1/2 inches. Since there were more grandkids coming on I decided to shorten the stock on one rifle. Believe me there was a marked improvement in speed and accuracy. If you are concerned about permanently shortening the existing stock you could always get an aftermarket stock and rework it. Then at the appropriate time reinstall the original. By the way Pink colored stocks are available for most models and everyone around would know that it was "Her" gun.
Shooting off sticks with 22(s) is great practice. Continue doing as much of that as possible.
Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
