New guy from Arizona, USA

Well thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Not every online forum is that way.

I live in Globe AZ which is a thorn filled pile of rocks as you probably know. So really just up the road from you.

I really appreciate the insight. As of right now plan was to carry a .300 win mag loaded fast with 166gr shock hammer bullets which are a mono so they should hold up well. .300 win mag has been my go to meat gun for years. Then again I’ve always wanted a 9.3x62 for no particular reason.
Yep, but don’t forget the rattlers. I’m in the east valley. As the weather warms up, you may see me scooting thru Globe on my motorbike.

I call it my lollipop ride. East to Superior, southeast to Winkelman, north to Globe and back home thru Superior.

Welcome to AH from a former Tucsonan, now Alaskan.

Learn all you can from the site. There's plenty of good information here.

Auction hunts can be a bit of a whirlwind sometimes. I've seen a few and chatted and assisted with a few people who've had them or looked into them. Some work out great, some not so great. So if I can make one suggestion, read the contract and make sure everyone in your group does too. Understand what is included and paid for and what is not and the costs. See if there's any reports on the outfitter here and feel free to ask about them.

Good luck and good hunting.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
