I took delivery of my first double rifle yesterday from my FFL. I was very happy with my Chapius' fit and finish. However, the box and case lacked an owner’s manual. I could not find an on-line version of the Chapius Elan model owner’s manual. I have emailed Chapius for assistance—I might be waiting awhile for a response. Does anyone know of a link to the manual in question. In meanwhile, I have printed out the manuals of other double manufacturers to read. Merkel’s was helpful—not apples to apples but useful.

Im not sure they come with an owners manual.. @Tom Leoni might know better than anyone else though..

I just took delivery of a Chapuis Iphisi a few weeks ago... Mine came with a certificate / proof of the finished firearm (basically a document that states when the gun was made, the caliber, the serial number, has a copy of the proof marks, etc..), a regulation target showing how the gun shot at 50M, a little pamphlet that is for the Negrini case that the rifle was delivered in, and a warranty registration card.. and thats it... no owners manual...

Owners manual?
Step 1: Inject bullets (note: bullet caliber should match stamp on barrel)
Step 2: Point gun away from self then pull trigger(s)…
Step 3: Open action..,eject bullets
Step 4: Insert bullets…Repeat step 2

Hi, I can confirm that the only models currently in the Chapuis catalog that come with manuals are the ROLS straight-pulls. User's manuals with the usual warnings and safety information are something that we will produce in time.

Yup....only 3 pieces to put together as well.....

I recently purchased a Chapuis UGEX in 9.4 x 74R and it didn’t come with an owner’s manual either. Test target, warranty and proof certificate were included.
I tried looking online but couldn’t find it.

Hey Odinsraven. Is that post from Jefferry 404 legitimate? I don't know him. Thanks!

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
