New Aussie bullet

It is great to see another Aussie projectile on the market, and I'll back up the good words said about Cam by others here already. An order placed via his Facebook page is answered promptly and the goods will be posted and in your hand in no time at all.
I am transitioning from Woodleigh to Atomic's in my 7x57, 375H&H and my 425.

.284"/135gn, .375/270gn, .423"/360gn pictured below.

Unfortunately not much opportunity for testing on game so far, the animals I have shot (a few average pigs with the heavy gun) I'm yet to recover any for assessment.

Competition is good, and should keep prices a bit in check.

Atomic prices are way below the overseas competition and we can get them when we want then. I’ve had some bullets on back order for over a year these being Barnes and Nosler. No more, Atomic perform as good or better, they’re cheaper to buy and Australian made . Here’s a great guy having a go, I say support our own.

Never been keen on an all copper bullet, I'm a bonded soft point fan. Having said this, there is nothing I love more than some good Aussie quality manufacturing and customer service. I'll get in touch with him and see what's on offer for the calibres I reload and see what he has to offer.

yeah I like things like trophy bonded tip and Ascents but they only come in smaller calibers and you carn’t get them. love A frame but there like rocking horse sh-t and the price.
I have switched over to Atomic 29’s exclusively in all calibers I can get from him. Wish he made 25 cal for the Weatherby. The 7mm is simply dynamite on the biggest pigs. and the 250 gr 9.3 is the best Sambar slayer I have used . Good hunting and I know you will be impressed. Tim and I used 7mm 135gr A29’s on these black buck a few years ago. I have also taken fallow with this bullet as well as a chital with 155gr 30 cal. Tim has taken quite a few animals with them.

Hi guys,

Great to see plenty of support for Atomic 29 bullets here. Cameron has been a mate since we were young blokes. He's a fantastic fellow, a horse trainer, fitter/machinist, welder, and all round good guy who just loves his shooting.

When he started making his first bullets years ago I was fortunate enough to assist through the prototype & testing stages, as did a few other mates. The resulting product is world class in my opinion.

I've taken them to New Zealand, Africa, Northern Territory, taking a wide variety of game with 100% success.

Here in Australia it is getting harder and more expensive to find and purchase good quality projectile’s. For instance if you can find a box of TSX Barnes it’s going to cost you some where from $100 to $150 for a box of 50 medium cal projectiles. Thank goodness for Cameron at Atonic 29 we now have a constant supply of high quality Aussie made bullets. These projectiles have deep penetration, excellent weight retention and are amazingly accurate.
Recovered bullets
No 1 220 gr from a 340 wea at 3150 fps
No 2 250 gr from a 9.3 x64 at 2850 fps
No 3 270 gr from a 375 Ruger at 2700 fps
All had 97+ % weight retention.

Cameron makes some really impressive projectiles. The 220gn 35 cal in my Whelen at 2,900fps is deadly accurate but on pigs you will NEVER recover a projectile they penetrate that well and do massive damage.
I'm trying to talk him into doing some 110gn 25 cals. We will wait snd see. Ted Mitchell swears by ther performance on anything from dingo to water buff in his 35 Mitchell Express.

I can vouch for the quality and accuracy and have done quite a bit of testing on deer in calibres 325WSM,338Win,375h&h Mag and 416 Rem Mag. Recovered a couple from raking shots but the they usually punch through with great expansion.
