Pulled my gear out for the trip coming up and realized I had neglected to add "have waist of hunting pants altered" to my already long list

Ha! Been there had that happen! Diet time!

Wait 'til you whipper snappers get to my age.
I gain weight if I just watch a pizza advertisement on TV, or drive past any BB-Q place.

Just put on the wool pants I have worn for the last couple of years and I was VERY close to that. A few months ago I would have been in trouble...

I was so fat and in bad shape a few years ago that I used to get out of breath from watching sports on TV!

He said altered ... he did not day let out ... it is possible that he hot in better shape, lost weight, and had to take them in.

Oh how I wish it were so! But thanks anyway

True, but we are all men. We don't get pants taken in, if we lose weight we just cinch our belts up and let the pants scrunch.

I live a cautionary tale: I actually have been working out but I have also been on a "see-food" diet lol. Been enjoying a nice Barolo at the local Italian restaurant too...sigh shows diet is indeed as important as exercise.

Very true.... and the older I get the more important both eating right and exercising have become. I can't just do one or the other anymore. I have to do both. At least hunting in the mountains gives me a goal!

Diet and exercise are the keys to having a long hunting career.

My father is 73. He isn't much of a hunter, but he still hikes to the top of 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado for the fun of it. Right now he is in better shape than I am!

Try running a Resturant, dieting and being around food all day is no fun, still I was able to drop 30

Body builders say that staying lean is 75% what you don't eat and 25% pumping iron like a mad man.
At 61, neither of those sound like much fun to me.
But, I still have my V shaped physique ... it's just upside down these days.

My wife told me I need to get in shape............................. I told her to leave me alone ROUND is a shape!

I still wear the same waist size pants I did when we got married, I just wear 'em a little lower!

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
