Hello Everyone,
I do a lot of post reading but don’t post much myself.
Thought I’d share a rifle I just purchased. Found a Pre 64 M70 in the much loved 375 H&H. Rifle was built in 1959. Found it at a local shop on consignment. An old fellow (90+) was selling his much beloved firearms. I managed to get this one for $1500 CDN, I thought to be a pretty decent deal.
The rifle is in fantastic shape, only thing to note was a crack in the tang/wrist. Upon taking the action out of the stock it looked to have been repaired by an epoxy job.
Handloaded some rounds and brought it to the range and put a few shots at 40 yards, right on the bullseye. It’s a pleasant shooter.
One step closer to my dream of hunting Cape Buffalo!!
Love to hear more from owners of the famous Pre-64 Model 70!
Cheers,
