I was spying on gunbroker and found this model 70 super grade in .458 win and I was doomed to get another rifle I don’t need. It is a 50th anniversary Cabela’s rifle and 1 of 500(not that it matters much). It looks to be unfired. I’m not sure if I’ll take it to Zim next year or not but I’m sure exited to get it to the range . The wood on this thing blows me away. The last picture is with my 375 for comparison.

Nice

Well done

Darn lovely wood on that M70!

Beautiful wood on your rifle! I'll bet it shoots just as good as it looks!

Good one. Nothing wrong with the .458 Winchester Magnum, if you use Federal 500Gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claws (for most game) and 450Gr Cutting Edge flat nosed brass solids (for elephant). For lion and leopard, the 500Gr Nosler Partition is excellent too.

Very nice rifle. Which model S&B scope is that and how do you like it?
It’s the 3-12 x 42 klassik mil/mil. The illumination is one of the best outlines I’ve seen for the cost.
