Based off the .338 Lap case and necked up to ,375 with a new 350 grain bullet looks interesting as few other new developed do.

Also if one have a 550 or 602 .416 bolt face, its easy to get one done. Its been a wildcat for some years, but when Swiss standarize something it is well thought through and no detail not checked before released. If one is lucky perhaps some nifty ,375 bullets of different weight and models turns out soon also.

Interesting round will be interesting to see if it becomes a standard round or another good idea wildcat that only a few KO2M shooters use.

Interesting, but definitely worth a little pause. A cartridge designed to develop almost 3,000 fps out of a 350-gr bullet will 1) eat up your barrel like nobody's business, and 2) not be exactly pleasant to shoot.

I see it as a specialized sniper round, if you need to get through an engine-block at a mile's distance. For hunters, not so much--but hey, if it lights your fire, this passion is about wants, not needs. ;-)

The new 375 Swiss is NOT based on the 338 Lapua Mag case!
Also the first results and measurements of factory ammunition are not convincing, the muzzle speed was below the announced values.

But there exists a wildcat based on the LaMa brass which will find its way to official CIP…
This 375 XLR seems very promising…
