New 375 added to Safe!

Very Nice!

Now we gotta get this COVID thing to go away so you can bust a buff or two with it this summer :)

Why do they straighten the bolt handle?

I hope so! Hate to say it, but just ordered one in 458 Lott to go along with it!!! Found a deal to good to pass up on. I think I have been talking to Cody to much.

Congrats Mark, very nice, and with Wayne's work it's even better. Maybe I should do that to my CZ.

Nice looking rifle, lets see how it shoots.

Why do they straighten the bolt handle?
The benefit I see was that it moved the bolt knob away from the stock a little bit.
This allowed me to more easily use the palm of my hand to cycle the action instead of my just my fingers.

In a stressful situation the body looses fine motor skills, like fingers gripping a bolt handle.
Using the palm move this to more major muscle groups and also allows for more forceful action on the bolt.
I was taught this technique by my Grandfather (WW2 Vet) who was taught this in the Marines.
It's served myself and my wife very well for hunting.

The guys at the range always look at us funny for cycling the bolt in this manner.
It wasn't until I joined this site and was introduced to DG hunting that I saw this technique from anyone else.

Heartiest congratulations , Mark .
Now you have the perfect rifle for a 1 gun safari to Africa ....
Not that you should ever stop supplimenting your battery . Guns bring us a lot of joy .

Thank you! I have already supplemented my battery again today. Waiting on the arrival of CZ550 in 458 Lott to go along with the 375. It will be heading to AHR also for some customization.

Nothing quite like having a professionally tuned and accurized rifle. This should be a really good and practical hunting gun for most anything you want to go after.

Well done @Philip Glass
This is directly out of the "Guide to Gun Buying with Spousal Approval" handbook.
Including words like "practical" and emphasizing it's good for ANYTHING...perfect.
Could not have done it better myself. (y)

Now, what are you thinking for your next one?

Nice rifle. I have two CZ550s now in WM and Lott. But please, SHOOT them! I have read here on AH so many times about all these rifles hibernating in gun safes without ever having been shot! I say shoot them or sell them to someone who will! They’re tools meant to be used for their intended purpose. I just recently sold several Mosin Nagant and Enfield rifles to fund my CZ rifle fix, because I no longer was shooting them. I was told by my consignment dealer that some 20s something bought them. Fantastic! The more new firearms owners, the better! Initially I shot them a lot, but times and circumstances change. Just my 2 centavos!

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
