Need some advice on firing posture and hold..

i also notice you grip the forend making sure some of it sits on the tripod not the barrel of course yet you are able to grip the remains forend so you can still roll with the shot…no part of your hand touches the tripod

They break down in 3 pieces and easily fit in my suitcase.

In regard to forend resting on the sticks, true. Also, I have the Els padded sling which works nicely almost like a sandbag lying flat on the sticks.

Sounds like the Stock may be a bit short from the banged knuckle and bruised bicep.... Practice shooting on and off the sticks lots of good drills out there .... When shooting a double your hand should always be between the barrels and what ever you are resting it against or you will change the point of impact... hopefully you have not developed a flinch... I always end a range session with either reduced loads for my Big Bores or a .22 to re-establish good shooting form.... prees the trigger see the hole..

A few more trips to the range, a nice tripod and I will figure it out quickly.... .375 or 9.3X62 most probably the later will be my next gun in near future.

I’ll just add a quote - “The .450/.400 NE - The first double you should buy, and the last double you should sell - Dr. Kevin Robertson”

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
