Some more random photos of the Khomas Higjlands experience....

The Zebra Rug will become the centerpiece of my new retirement "Man Cave," immediately opposite, my Golden Bear rug... I plan to create a "happy place" with North American mounts on one side of the room and African mounts on the other side, and a big screen TV opposite a couple big leather recliners.
Yeah, good luck with that. I envisioned doing something similar (minus the TV) and it didn't work out quite that way. I came to realize that I can shoot as many "taxidermy-worthy" animals in 10 days of safari as in 10 years of hunting at home. Unless you concentrate solely on the "Tiny Ten" animals, Africa can take over a trophy room very, very quickly.

Some great photos by the way!

Your hunt report was a very enjoyable read and I really liked all of the photos you shared (I never take enough). Congratulations on your hunt trip! I liked the look of the terrain where you had your hunt.

Great report and looked to be a lot of good times!

Not in this case... the NA side of the room is already taken care of... Africa has some catching up to do...

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
