Made it.....whew. Long flight long drive. Just checked the guns all good. First order of business tomorrow morning is to shoot some warthogs for fresh bait. Let the games begin! Hopefully as we’re on the move some of the tiny critters I’m after show themselves.

Now youve been there a couple of days Johnny , what are the conditions like ?
Is it dryer than your last time there or is it not to bad . Hows the drought going in other words ??

Hey Dory, just came in for lunch our first morning out. Checked trail cam Pictures nothing hitting unfortunately. But I shot two warthogs for fresh bait. Try and shoot two more later on for our other baits. Currently four running. Drought conditions are horrendous throughout most of Namibia. Our farm has sections that received good rain a while back but nothing near enough. Luckily his has quite a few holes he pumps. So there is water but grass is scarce. Going to try for dik dik tonight and maybe klipspringer if we’re lucky. My PH told me some game farms have lost thousands of head of game. Bad situation here.

OUCH! Geezzzzz. Half a day hunting! Believe me no one wants to get serious more than I do! Lol. Discouraging no baits have been hit in the last week but with fresh bait coming I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
