@Fatback , am totally impressed with your trophies. Also nice to hear that the operator and PH were first rate. Buffalo is the last thing on my bucket list. Love to see more pics of the camp on the river..........congrats.................FWB

Congratulations on a great hunt.
What are the details on rifles and loads?

Thanks. I didn’t bring my own rifle on this trip. I was worried about all the stories I had been hearing about lost/damaged rifle with the airlines recently. I rented rifles from the PH. A 375 for the buffalo, shooting a 300 grain Barnes TSX and a 300 win for the plains game, shooting a 180 grain nosler partion. Both preformed well.

Here is a small group of bulls that we saw on the Botswana side of the river as we were taking my bull out. Certainly gave me some inspiration to make it back to the Caprivi to hunt again in the future. I’m by no means an expert but to my untrained eye, these all look like tremendous bulls to me. I’d like to hear thoughts from the more experienced buffalo hunters on the forum. Also, thanks for all of the kind comments. I am new to this forum and the welcome by everybody is greatly appreciated.
