I don't think you're going to be upset with the performance of your 30/06 On any of the animals you plan to hunt. On your eland shot placement will be important but don' think twice about its ability to do the job as long as you are up to the task of putting the bullet where it counts. Don't over think it just go and have a ball!

Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
