NAMIBIA: 2023 Non-Trophy Bull Elephant With Karl Stumpfe / ndumo HUNTING SAFARIS

Thank you for sharing! What an adventure. I’ve been reading John Taylor’s book and he’s adamant that there is a HUGE difference from to .40-.44 calibers into a real big bore .450 upto .600. Taylor says any serious dangerous game should have a. .450 up (especially for elephant and rhino). This is very cool that you were able to experience this adventure. I’ve heard the Caprivi strip is a special place.

What an adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Are you doing replicas of the tusks?

Thanks for sharing. What an exciting hunt! I booked this same hunt at SCI with Karl for 2025. I am looking forward to it.

Looks like an awesome trip. Hunting elephant with a double seems like the height of adventure. Not sure I’ll ever be in the position to do it, but one can dream. Thanks for sharing.

Hey there Matt - i would love to understand some more about your bringing trophies home from South Africa in your checked luggage. My PH is holding onto a bushbuck euro and flatskin for me - and i am due back in South Africa in just over a week. He does have the export permit provided by the taxidermist for me. When you have a moment - could we go through the EDC Form and App? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey trogon thanks for the shipping trophys info, so this being my first time shipping ,did you hire a firm here in the states to handle the import or was that an African firm, I would be happy with a cost around 3000+.
