Name the species

That was gonna be my next guess, showed it to a retired USFWS waterfowl biologists and he went straight to mottled x mallard. Super cool bird. Keep looking for them on the Alabama gulf coast as we have mottled all year and a few mallards in the winter not to mention the tame park mallards.

Naw, thats not it. I told you , its the rare Upper Volta Blue Wing Spur Fowl! Pay attention! :p

@gizmo can you share the results of the response you received?

Well it was really pretty anti climactic. My bird taxidermist Gary has known Collin Campbell and Paul Rymer for years. We sent them pic's and viola. Gary has been a taxidermist for over 40 years himself so we all were taking bets around the shop and sent the pics to settle the argument. I was wrong, I was betting on a black duck hybrid.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
