My new trophy room start

@Scott CWO, this GR 20 is what I used last weekend. Worked great.
I have some mounts coming in this week and was debating how to hang , move stuff around . It would have to move over some tile and a 6 inch drop to the trophy room . Would the unit be too heavy for tile and ramping down ?

Says it weighs 2500 pounds. My room is finished already. My flooring is hardwood after coming through the door and cushy carpet in the greatroom. Would probably have to put down some plywood to move it around the room? I think it would fit through my french door but wonder if it would damage the door threshold without some type of padding?

@Rockwall205,

We ramped the one we used up a small set of steps on my front porch to get it in the house, so I’m sure you could ramp it down without much issues.

As far as the tile, I have no idea on that. We used it on a hardwood floor on a floor joist system without any problems. It has rubber wheels that didn’t mark up the wood floor at all. Hope this helps.

@Scott CWO,

It would struggle to move on carpet I would think. No issues on my hardwood floor. We just had some wood over the threshold and it worked without any problems.

Trophy room finished!!!!

Congrats @Rare Breed. Very classy. I particualrly like your exposed beams and white vaulted ceilings - very reminiscent of Africa. Well done.

Mine is getting very close and it's an exciting time.

That came out great!

Great conversion sir! Impressive display.

Oustanding! Very nicely done. The photographs really set off the mounts, I'm going to have to re-think my prints. Great looking cedar chest, the entire room flows incredibly well.

I am not handy building things so only did design. Total cost all in transforming my screen porch already under roof making it look like it was always there versus converting the screen porch for 300 square feet right at $41,000 including team that hung taxi

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
