Sorry, no sausage recipe for Muntjac...

Congrats on your burger/mince buck.
What kind of sausage do you like?

What do those little guys taste like au natural?
Are you trying to leave the natural flavour or hide it?

We create our own favourites after first testing a recipe book out.

Thank you. They taste like lamb but without the grease! I was just interested to see if anyone had a good burger/sausage recipe that was all. We just tend to add onion, garlic, pork belly, salt and pepper.

BOWHUNTING MUNTJAC

Hello from Spain.
I have seen many videos of muntjacs and once in the wild when I was working in Northampton (UK) when I was young. I would like to bowhunt a mature male. Anybody knows when I can do it in UK? prices? maybe swaping a hunt? Here in Spain I hunt in different places...
Thanks for an answer!

I'm afraid bowhunting is illegal here in the UK, or I would be hunting Muntjac with a bow.To hunt them with a rifle you would be looking at approx ï½£150 per day outing fee.A trophy fee would be approx ï½£30 per cm of the longest antler until you got upto a medal class head. Bronze ï½£350, Silver ï½£450, Gold ï½£550.
Hope this has been some help.

Sad news, but thanks for answer. My challenge is to hunt one with the bow...rifle is not in my plans.
I was thinking on a muntjac hunt stalking or waiting swaping with a hog hunt in Spain. Well I see I must continue dreaming. Regards.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
