This was our first year on AH and I appreciate how welcoming the AH community has been to us! With the 2024 season winding down, I would like to extend my thanks to all who hunted with us and helped make this a successful season. This was the first year we were open to international hunters and we had an absolutely great time! Over the next few weeks, I would like to share some pictures highlighting our successes, accommodations, and all the fun we have had. I also can't express how excited I am to hunt with several members of this forum in 2025! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have an interest in hunting with us or if you just want to talk hunting in South Africa.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I'll be posting additional pictures of other animals we hunted over the next few days.

Thanks! We really enjoyed this season and looking forward to many more in the future.

Our property borders the Pongola Nature Reserve which makes it convenient to tiger fish as part of your safari. We usually work in a half day of fishing on our custom packages. This is a great opportunity to spend time with other members of your hunting party or simply take an afternoon off while still enjoying the outdoors. While fishing, it isn't uncommon to see crocodiles, hippos, or elephants on the PNR.

Below are pictures of a few warthogs we hunted this past season. Warthogs are one of our favorite trophies to pursue!

In addition to an abundance of warthogs, we have lots (and lots) of nyala. As many of you know, they flourish in KwaZulu-Natal and this region provides one of the best opportunities for an exceptional trophy. The genetics in our area are outstanding and many of the nyala we harvest have the bell shape with flared tips that hunters often look for.

The one animal I still want from Southern Africa.

Thanks for sharing and please keep us local hunter and trophy hunters in your mind as well.
Always nice to spend time in your area

Some really nice Nyala

Yes and thank you. I grew up in this area so I have a real fondness for it. Certainly reach out if you are ever nearby. We do still host local hunters (cull or trophy) when there is an interest.

Thanks Conrad,

Send me a pricelist privately if you have 2025 rates pinned down.

Below are several blue wildebeest we hunted this past season. We have a healthy population on Mpeti. Blue wildebeest are always a great hunt as they can be difficult stalk given the numbers of animals in some herds. Shot placement is so important as they can go a long ways even when hit well.

The last picture, the wildebeest with the broken horn, was one of my favorite hunts this past season. That bull had eluded us on several previous hunts. Numerous times we were within range of him but couldn't get a clear shot, the wind swirled, or cows in the herd were close and spotted us. Literally on the last hour, on the last day of a hunt, we were able to find him after two failed stalks earlier in the week and we successfully shot him. Some may not like it because of the broken horn, but I've always been a fan of unique, old animals, especially those that challenge my PH skills!.
