Great report. I used to fly over the swamps with a Christian missionary from Zim. The herds of Buffalo and waterbuck standing in water up to their backs was always a sight. Just a little stewardship and Africa blooms. Fantastic. I love reading about all you hunters going there and having success!
I hunted Mahimba in 2014. JP Kleinhans had it then and three of us had great hunt there. True African bush. We listened to the fish eagles in the lagoon every morning for 10 days. There weren’t any hippo tags available at that time but buffalo, warthog, sable, bush buck, waterbuck, and bush pig were plentiful. We saw elephant spore couple times but they were spooky. Great experience and good value.
Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
